I was diagnosed with ADD about ten years ago. Except for my sisters, you're the only other woman I know who's been diagnosed. One of my sisters lived with me for four months at one point (before either of us was diagnosed), and visitors had to forge their own trails to get into the kitchen. We had a lot of fun, though!
hahaha @ "visitors had to forge their own trails..." You know how people have to move a ton of crap to the back seat if they wanna ride shotgun in your car? That's apparently an ADD thing, too!
Luctor et emergo means "I struggle and emerge"......a long time ago, this woman told us all to be open about our need, real about our struggles...."Struggle is a sign of life-" she shrugged when she said it, as if reminding us of something we should already know...you know, the whole don't-crack-open-a-cocoon-to-help-the-fragile-emerging-butterfly-because-the-very-work-it-takes-to-open-the-cocoon-is-what-makes-him-strong-enough-to-fly idea.
